Frequently Asked Question's

1.  What areas do you provide service to?
Light Brothers LLC operates in the Baltimore - Washington Area.  Most of the homes and business we service are
located in Howard, Prince Georges's, Carroll, and Montgomery counties.

2.  Is Light Brothers LLC insured?
Yes, Light Brothers LLC employees are trained and insured decorators.

3.  What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

4.  When is my payment due?
In order to schedule a installation, Light Brothers requires a 30% deposit.  The remainder of the payment must
be paid in full on the day of, or prior to, the day of installation.

5.  Do I need to hire an electrician?
The majority of installations do not require the need for an electrician.   If one is needed due to the size of the
display, or power sourcing options, we have local electricians that work with our decorators to ensure your display
         is adequately powered and safe.

6.  Do I need to supply the lights or will Light Brothers LLC do that?
Light Brothers LLC will provide all the lights, clips, cords, and timers needed to make you home look great.  We
have partnered with a Premier Lighting Supplier, and install only the finest Professional Grade LED Lights.  All of
our lights are provided to you as a rental, giving you the option to change your design year after year.

7.  Is there an extra cost to take down the lights and store them for next year?
Absolutely not.  After we visit your home to conduct our design consultation, we will give you one quote for our
services.  This is the only quote you will receive for the entire season.  Our quote will include all installation, any
service calls for burned out bulbs or loose strands, complete removal at the end of the season and storage for the
following year.  This ensures that you can enjoy the holidays without worrying about any additional costs.

8.  Will you install lights I currently own or that I purchase?
Unfortunately, we cannot install any customer supplied product because we cannot be certain of the quality or
craftsmanship of these products. We guarantee all of the products that we supply, and provide free service or
replacement in the unfortunate event that any of our materials should fail during the Holiday Season.

9.  How far in advance do we need to contact you to get a quote and schedule an installation?
The earlier the better.  The holiday decorating season is short, which makes demand high.  Our schedules tend to
fill up by mid-November.  We offer early bird discounts for all jobs booked by Oct. 31.  However, if its late in the
season and you haven't gotten around to your installing your lights, its never too late to call as we sometimes
offer last minute discounts to finish out the season.

10.  Does someone need to be home at the time of installation?
Most of the time our installers can complete the installation whether you are home or not.  As long as we can
access the outlets that will be supplying power for the display, there is usually no need to be home.  This will be
noted during our initial visit for the Design Consultation.

11.  When do you take the lights down?
We like to let our crews enjoy the holidays with their families, but just like everyone else we return to work
beginning January 2nd.  If you'd like to leave your lights up a little while longer or there is a particular day you want
them removed, we will set-up a removal appointment.  Otherwise, as we conduct our removals we will usually give
you about 2 days notice of our intention to remove your display.

12.  What happens to the lights after they are removed?
After the lights are removed, they are put into labeled storage containers and brought back to our workshop.
Once all removals are completed, (usually February 1st) we being our maintenance process.  Each display is then
unboxed, one at a time and carefully inspected, tested and repaired or replaced if necessary.  Displays are then
re-boxed and moved to our storage facility where they remain until we begin our pre-season testing in Early Oct.

13.  What happens if there is a problem with my lights?  If there a service fee?
Our installers will ensure your display is fully functional and that you are happy with it's appearance before they
leave the property.  The products that we use, are designed to last the full holiday lighting season.  In the
unfortunate event a bulb or strand won't light, or a strand comes loose, you will NOT be charged a service fee.  All
it takes is a phone call, and one of our installers will come out to repair or replace the product.

14.  What is the average cost to have lights installed on a residential home?
Each installation is custom designed to fit your property and meet your needs.  Some of our clients desire a very
simple elegant look while others want to turn their home into a winter wonderland.  In addition to the amount of
lights that clients desire, additional factors that affect price are number of stories, access to the roofline and the
degree of difficulty for different elements of the installation.  After the design consultation we will survey and

measure your property, and provide you with a wide-range of options and prices.

15.  Do you offer other decorations in addition to Christmas lights?
Yes!  We have partnered with a Premier Holiday Lighting Distributor to bring your a wide variety of Outdoor and
Indoor Christmas lights and Decor options.  While we only stock some of our more commonly used products, if
there is something particular you are looking for, chances are that our supplier will be able to have it hear in time
         for your installation.
